What AI actually is. Not deep technical detail, but enough to understand capabilities and limitations. Why it sometimes makes things up. Why it doesn’t “know” things the way humans do. A conceptual model that shapes realistic expectations.
Basic prompting. How to ask AI for things. The importance of specificity. Common patterns that work.
Security and privacy. What can and can’t be shared with AI. Company policy on AI use. Data protection basics.
Quality checking. AI makes mistakes. How to verify outputs. When to trust and when to double-check.
When to use (and not use) AI. Task matching. What AI is good at vs. what it struggles with.
This layer should take 2-3 hours, split across sessions. Include hands-on practice, not just explanation.
Layer 2: Role-Specific (2-4 hours per role)
Tailor this to actual job functions. Examples:
For Sales:
- Prospect research workflows
- Email personalization at scale
- Call prep and follow-up
- Objection handling support
For Marketing:
- Content drafting and iteration
- Social media batching
- Campaign copy variations
- Competitive research
For Customer Support:
- Response drafting
- Issue categorization
- Knowledge base assistance

For Operations:

Each role-specific module should:

Build AI practice into regular work:

Training ends. Support shouldn’t.
