Bringing a team? Here's how to get started

Read this to learn how to get a team plan for your business.

So, you love DatBot.AI and want to get your team in here. No problem!

Just click your email address in the bottom left corner of your screen:

That will open up the account management modal, where you can see your current plan, manage your subscription, and view your usage analytics.

Usage Analytics Tab

The account modal includes a Usage Analytics tab that shows your feature usage for the current billing period. You can see a breakdown of your usage across:

  • Text generation - Standard chat and responses
  • Image generation - All image creation
  • Video generation - Video content created
  • Audio generation - Voice and audio output
  • Report creation - Deep Dive and Quick Report usage

You’ll also see token usage per type, so you know exactly where your credits are going. This helps you understand your team’s usage patterns and plan accordingly.

Adding a team member is easy. Just click the “Add Seat” button, and you’ll be able to add any number of new email addresses to your account.

IMPORTANT: These will be billed to your account at the same rate as your regular plan.

They will now be able to log in through https://datbot.ai/login and use their own DatBot.AI account.

If you want to also change your plan at the same time, you can do that too! Just click the “Manage Subscription” button instead of ‘add seat’, and you’ll be able to change your plan in our customer portal.

Do team members get their own credits?

Adding a seat, whether or not it’s filled, increases your total number of credits by your regular plan’s credit number. So, if you have a plan that gives you 6 million credits, adding a seat will increase your total credit pool by 6 million per seat.

IMPORTANT: Team members increase your total subscription pool. They will use the same pool as your regular plan, which is great from an efficiency perspective, as you can have a light user and a heavy user balance one another out.

What if I want to remove a seat?

If you want to remove a user, just click the “Delete” button (Trash can icon) next to the seat you want to remove. Or you can manage your seats in the “Manage Subscription” portal.

What if I want to change a seat’s email address?

You can do that too! Just click the “Edit Seat” button, and you’ll be able to change an email address from your account. They will no longer be able to log in through https://datbot.ai/login and use their own DatBot.AI account.

What if I want to have different tiers per person?
