Signing Up & Logging In

How to create your account, log in, and verify your email.

Creating an Account

You’ve got two options:

Google Sign-Up (Fastest)

  1. Click “Sign up with Google”
  2. Pick your Google account
  3. Done. You’re in.

Email Sign-Up

  1. Enter your name and email
  2. Solve the CAPTCHA (yes, we need to make sure you’re human)
  3. Click “Sign Up with Email”
  4. Check your inbox for a 6-digit code
  5. Enter the code on the verification screen

That’s it. No phone number, no blood sample.

Logging In

Forget passwords. Seriously.

  1. Enter your email
  2. Complete the CAPTCHA
  3. Click “Send Login Link”
  4. Check your email, click the link
  5. You’re logged in

The link expires after a bit, so don’t save it for later.

Google Sign-In

  1. Click “Sign in with Google”
  2. Pick your account
  3. Done

Email Verification

First time logging in? You’ll need to verify your email.

  1. You’ll see 6 empty boxes
  2. Check your email for a code from DatBot
  3. Type each digit (or just paste the whole thing)
  4. Click “Verify Code”

Keyboard tricks:

  • Backspace moves you back a box
  • Arrow keys navigate between boxes
  • Ctrl/Cmd+V pastes all 6 digits at once

No code? Check spam. Still nothing? Click “Try logging in again” to get a fresh code.

Common Issues

Security Stuff

  • CAPTCHA: Blocks bots. Annoying but necessary.
  • Magic Links: Expire after a short time. Don’t bookmark them.
  • Email Verification: Required before you get full access.
  • Sessions: Stay logged in across page refreshes until you log out.

That’s authentication. Not exciting, but now you know how it works.
